My approach is one of “financial planning” to your home loan. Most lenders arrange your "loan" based upon a "number".... rate and closing costs, and judge the process successful if your “number” is reached. That "number," without regards to total cost, average weighted debt; current and future savings, cash flow, retirement, children's education, home improvements, debt elimination, credit score improvement, anticipated upcoming expenses, and "life happens" events….will cause financial loss, uncertainty, and sleepless nights. What I do, is “lend clarity and confidence” to these questions, so that you think through and address those issues at the critical time of home financing, so that you are positioned to make “choices” rather than deal with “issues.”
